While a freelance Art Director at R/GA I worked on the redesign of the Verizon mobile site experience—focusing particularly on shopping and conversion. The ‘switch plan’ sign-up flow was a pain point that needed a full re-design from a UX pod for mobile. As such we designed with the smallest mobile screens and localization in mind. The aim was to distill the experience to linear steps and make the shopping landing page and CTA’s clearer to reduce the barrier to entry. This took on the form a design-system wide re-tooling of the typography and design system with mobile-first principles.
